Audience Building Summit
The Audience Building Summit began in 2015 as a workshop for arts and culture organizations, with presentations from national experts and peer organization leaders who had transformed their organizations to focus on their audiences.
Board and staff leaders of Atlanta's arts and culture organizations gathered at the invitation of The Arthur M. Blank Foundation on November 5, 2015, to hear from the authors of the 2015 NEA study on audiences and to discuss strategies for retaining existing audiences and attracting new ones.
The workshop, attended by more than 180 people, launched the Audience Building Roundtable, a peer network with more than 50 organizations.
In 2017, the Audience Building Summit will showcase a mix of expert- and peer-tested strategies that support organizations in listening and responding to their audiences.
