High Museum of Art

With its renowned collection of classic and contemporary art and award-winning architecture by Richard Meier and Renzo Piano, the High Museum of Art has grown from its origins in a stately home on Peachtree Street to become the leading art museum in the southeastern United States. With more than 15,000 works of art in its permanent collection, the High has an extensive anthology of 19th- and 20th-century American and decorative art; significant holdings of European paintings; a growing collection of African American art; and burgeoning collections of modern and contemporary art, photography, folk art and African art. The High is also dedicated to supporting and collecting works by Southern artists.

It is such a wonderful opportunity to be included in the Technical Assistance Workshops graciously provided by the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. The collective knowledge of the participants is astounding and the guidance from TRG is priceless! The ability to participate in these workshops and learn best practices from so many organizations is beneficial for the entire city of Atlanta. Never have I experienced such a meaningful day where so many representatives are gathered and actively working together to better our individual organizations as well as collaborate and learn from one another to provide a greater overall patron experience for our guests.
